We are seeking a Business Analyst to join the Revenues & Transactional Services team within the Resources Department.
Business Analyst – Revenues and Transactional Services Transformation
Location: Enfield, London (Hybrid)
The London Borough of Enfield is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the transformation of its Revenues and Transactional Services directorate. This is an exciting time to be part of an ongoing transformation programme, with the opportunity to hit the ground running and make a real difference. This role is pivotal in delivering operational improvements through new technology, process optimisation, and a customer-centric approach and culture.
This role will operate within the transformation team within the Revenues and Transactional Services Directorate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development of a new target operating model aligned with strategic transformation objectives.
- Scoping statement of works and development of clear recommendations based on user research and insight.
- Map and redesign “as-is” and “to-be” processes, integrating automation, workflow technology, and self-service channels.
- To undertake extensive data analysis to support decision-making and identify trends.
- Serve as the primary liaison for Revenues and Transactional Services stakeholders.
- Engage with business users to challenge feedback, optimise processes, and identify further transformation opportunities.
Experience:
- You have a successful track record of working in multidisciplinary teams to deliver technology-enabled projects and services.
- You’re experienced in understanding and balancing client, organisational, and technical needs and knowing how to balance these when recommending decisions.
- 3–5 years’ business analysis experience within the local government sector.
- In-depth knowledge of Revenues and Transactional operations.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven experience developing and implementing target operating models.
- Ability to deliver clear recommendations to management and staff. You possess strong communication skills, capable of simplifying and distilling complex data and analysis for diverse audiences.
- You have proven ability to lead analysis of complex business problems and build robust evidence to drive strategic system and process decisions.
- Proficiency in process mapping and aligning with automated, customer-focused models. You are skilled at visualising customer journeys using data to identify problems and inform solutions.
- Familiarity with modern technology platforms, including but not limited to AI, bots, and workflow tools.
- Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
