About the Role
As a Graduate Food Safety Officer, you’ll be on the frontline of keeping Enfield’s residents safe. You’ll receive support to gain the competencies needed to carry out official food hygiene and food standards inspections — with plenty of hands‑on experience along the way.
You’ll be involved in:
- Visiting food businesses and supporting inspections
- Investigating complaints and food safety incidents
- Sampling, evidence gathering and preparing reports
- Helping businesses improve standards and comply with the law
This is your opportunity to grow quickly, gain professional confidence, and work towards full authorisation under the Food Law Code of Practice.
About You

Holds (or is working towards) a CIEH‑accredited Environmental Health degree
